Danté was born in South Carolina then raised in Maryland from the age of four. He comes from a low-income single parent household with an absent father and an alcoholic mother.
Despite these circumstances he became a first-generation college student with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He had a vision to learn the business world to break generational curses and help others do the same.
After becoming an accountant and having the knowledge to relay onto others he realized that the root cause of people’s struggles is deeper than finances and it led him to the dismantled family dynamic.
He expanded his focus from economic empowerment to family empowerment with the same goal in mind, to help support everyday families while strengthening communities worldwide.
Envisioning a world where families & communities are reconnected, fostering environments of love, support, and shared growth.
Our organization is committed to restoring family values and supporting all families with a focus on low-income areas, broken homes, at-risk youth, and struggling parents.
Empowering families to heal, communities to grow, and opportunities to flourish.
Welcome to ‘True to Family’ where we believe that every family deserves understanding, support, and a chance to thrive. In a world where many struggle with a sense of belonging, and where the impacts of abusive households and childhood traumas linger, we’re here to offer a helping hand.
Through heartfelt initiatives such as family workshops, mentorship programs, and engaging community events, we aim to mend fractured relationships and foster healthier, happier homes. Our commitment is to stand by families and communities through thick and thin, offering a safe space where trust and support are paramount.
We are not currently a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization but given the philanthropic nature of our mission and services, we are working toward that title. We are a self-funded, smaller organization so the legal process and financial requirements makes it a longer process. We are in the process of getting a 501(c)(3) Fiscal Sponsorship which will allow for 100% tax deductible grants and donations.
